Very pleased with the workmanship and final product. It was frustrating at times during the planning process and we feel that Aveling didn’t appear to have much experience with ‘rural’ blocks given the back and forth regarding placement of house on block – these discussions took approx 6 months to come to an agreement resulting in drastic issues with our lender. This in turn became more frustrating when we had to pay the variation fee because the house needed to be moved (as noted above). We also did our own siteworks and this caused issues because we were told this would void the structural warranty, and we felt pressured to use Aveling for siteworks. Overall we are pleased with the final product and would like to pass on our gratitude to the building team. We are very pleased with the quality of the tradework.
