Good communication during the whole construction process. Construction times were met as stipulated at the beginning of the process.

Sales consultant – _______ extremely helpful and have recommended him to others. Timely liaison between _______ with information to _______ on progress of construction would be of benefit. Maybe a couple of formal meetings with the site manager through the building process would be of benefit. Extremely happy overall with the quality of the workmanship and the attitudes of the tradesmen. Thank you for a great home.

Once our land titles finally came through, Aveling homes just got down to business. From slab to completion was only a little over 5 and a half months. Its been amazing how well they have gotten everything done in such a short time. On top of all that any queries the wife or i had were answered quickly and explained so we both understood. If i were to build another house i would use Aveling again without a second thought.

Great service through out the whole experience. From sales all the way through to construction and hand over, could not really complain. Good service from employees i dealt with though i did go through 3 different construction consultants. All in all happy with the finished product and would recommend Aveling to others.

Took too long failed to understand what the industry required which is a major failing as the sales consultants should be aware of what is going on in the markets they are placing houses if not then they should know. In one meeting back in April 2015 it was agreed that the failure to comply with the MRA requirements resulted in a total redesign a delay in stating and completing and of course the usual price increase that builders seem to always manage to apply as most seem to go beyond the “price” period. At times the experience was very stressful and thankfully I have a good support network that has guided me through a most traumatic experience in what should have been an exciting time and experience it has left me with a feeling of “I am over it” which is not a good reflection on Aveling Homes. As a minnow in the market I don’t expect this will have any changes on how Aveling conduct business which looking at the set up and organisation it should. Hopefully the quality of he build will ease that pain over time.

The only negative was that sometimes calls were not returned. Overall though we were kept informed regularly of the process of our home and any problems. We found everyone who was a part of the process from sorting our loan through to handover was friendly and professional.
